The X-Series allowed 3 UK customers to make calls from their mobiles by using Skype or it allowed them to access their home PC and have access to some of the major Internet messaging services. Then in the early part of 2007, 3 introduced the 3 Like Home feature that allowed subscribers to use any 3-branded network without having to pay additional roaming charges.
