Our Samsung S5600 Review
Stylish and modern, the Samsung S5600 has some great features that make it attractive to a variety of people such as the fact that its navigation is done purely via the touch screen and the fact that it has a customisable screen where you can choose which widgets you would prefer to display.
Similar looking to the Tocco Lite, this phone is very aesthetically attractive, although the screen is smaller than on the Tocco Lite which may disappoint some users. Some users complain that the icons are too close together on this phone which means that sometimes you may end up making incorrect selections which may be frustrating so if you do not have a lot of patience then this phone may not be for you. If you’re used to using touch screen phones, however, you may find it easier to use and will be a lot less likely to slip up.
The camera on the Samsung S5600 is 3.1 megapixel and comes with LED flash and auto-focus which means that photos come out pretty clear. This is great for anybody who likes taking snaps when out and about in a variety of scenarios. Some people are unimpressed, however, since the zoom function only works in panoramic or video mode but unless you plan on taking regular photographs from a distance often this may not be a problem to you.
The internet browsing on the Samsung S5600 is fast and easy to use so if you like to be able to surf the net when you are out and about this phone may be ideal for you. The built-in music player also makes it simple to listen to your favourite tunes on the go and the FM radio is great for anybody that fancies tuning into a station.
Many users like the fact that the menus on the Samsung S5600 respond quickly but it is also criticised for being slow when sending text messages so if you like to text a lot then this phone may not be for you unless you have the patience to deal with this. Also, the touch screen only responds if you use your fingers so if you have long nails you will find that you will not be able to text easily. Online you will find references to the fact that this phone has GPS, although it seems that it actually doesn’t come with this feature which may disappoint if you were looking for a phone that had this capability.
This phone is fantastic for people who like a good-looking phone that is fairly simple to use, although there are some flaws with it that make it less appealing to some people. If you feel that you can look past these then you may find that you are one of the many people that love this phone and will find it great to use.
